How does it work?
Flax seeds are rich in fibre, magnesium, zinc, B-group vitamins, vitamins E and A. The flour contains the characteristic flaxseed mucilage. Flaxseed meal is the expeller product remaining after the process of cold pressing of the seeds. It still contains healthy fats but in a smaller quantity.
Directions for use:
One of the most common ingredients used for making raw crackers or raw pizza crusts. Due to its binding properties, flaxseed meal can be used for thickening raw creams, fillings and puddings. Consume it alone or add it to salad dressing, sauce or in smoothies and shakes to make them more nutritionally dense. Add flaxseed flour to homemade granola. It can be also used in vegan bakery, where it replaces the use of eggs – for this purpose, mix thoroughly 1 tablespoon flaxseed flour with 3 tablespoons water and allow the mixture to gel. Ingredients: Finely ground flaxseed Storage: Store at a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight.
